ONE-OF-A-KIND MOSCHINO TUTU FOR ENGLISH NATIONAL BALLET

On June 29 the English National Ballet hosted a fabulous fashion fundraiser at the legendary Orangery, and invited Moschino, among other designers, to create a tutu or ballet-inspired dress for the event!

Moschino labelled their creation "Pearly Kings and Queens", and heavily embellished it with mother of pearl buttons, incorporating the iconic Moschino symbols: M for Moschino, the heart and the peace symbol. Although this one-of-a-kind creation is NOT available at Butch Blum (it was later auctioned off at the event), we nonetheless LOVE Moschino and their sister collection Moschino Cheap and Chic, and are SO looking forward to more fall arrivals. We want to salute one of our favorite vendors, Luigi Bianchi Mantova (also known as Lubiam and L.B.M. 1911) for their centennial anniversary. We hope we look as good as you do when WE turn 100!

AN ARMANI WEDDING IN HAWAII

Our good friend and client Jerry Raine of Turgeon Raine Jewelers had a traditional Hawaiian wedding recently - of course the groom is in Giorgio Armani Black label! WE love the minister's look (far right) and congrats to the bride and groom....what a beautiful setting on the Island of Maui and the perfect use of a sunny day - what are YOU doing with the sunshine today??
