MARCOLIANI SOCKS

Marcoliani socks are among the best in the industry, consistently featuring innovative patterns and colors, and the finest yarns in the industry.  Some of the features of the Marcoliani sock:

Pima Cotton - Marcoliani's Pima cottons are an extra-long staple fiber, tightly twisted into a 2-ply yarn and knit with a small amount of Lycra or nylon for stay-put power. The socks are Mercerized (pressed between heat rollers) giving them a subtle gloss and a smooth hand for comfort.

Extrafine Merino Wool - Marcoliani uses only extrafine merinos in their knit goods, meaning that only the thinnest fibers (19.5 microns - similar to a super 100's woven cloth) are used in the yarn. This ensures the yarn contains more fiber than its competitors, and maintains a rich softness without pilling. The wool fibers are laboratory tested for resistance to shrinkage (even in machine dryers) and fading.

Cashmere - The king of all fibers, cashmere is one of the finest fibers available (12-13 microns thick). The cashmere yarns used by Marcoliani are twisted back on themselves in a 2-ply process that makes them twice as thick and twice as sturdy. Like their merino and cotton cousins, cashmere socks are laboratory tested for resistance to fading, however because of their relatively delicate nature, they are best air-dried, and machine washed in cold water.
