One of the perks of being Butch Blum is working with vendors like Biella Collezioni - every year they send us the most incredible wafer-cookies called "Canestrelli" from a local bakery in Biella.  They've become a winter tradition the staff looks forward to every year.

On March 12 and 13, Butch Blum will be hosting Artisan Days, an event dedicated to the Italian designer collections featured at Butch Blum which feature hand-crafting, hand-dyeing, hand-detailing, and hand-loomed fabrics. In addition to the offerings for men during the Artisan Event, you will find incredible women's fashions from a varied roster of designers, including Biella Collezioni, Blui, Cividini, Fabiana Filippi, and Faliero Sarti!

The fabric on this tunic dress is so unusual - an incredibly soft silk chiffon that has been embroidered over with a small, textural pattern. The embroidery is thorough, and the effect is completely three-dimensional, but it doesn't add a lot of weight to the fabric. As a finishing touch, an additional 5-6" of unembroidered chiffon is added to the skirt as a trim detail.
