PRO TIP - TRY TEAL THIS SPRING

In both photos: Teal button-front shirt - Culturata - $195
Cashmere/Linen cardigan - Inis Meain - $695
Stone bedford cotton pant - Hiltl - $255
This season, variations on teal in both dark and light shades, are extremely important - and with good reason. Teal has a similar wearability to traditional French and China blue shirts, but has a certain electric quality that is flattering for any skin tone.

Wear it casually or pair it with your favorite suit in the same ways you'd wear a similar light blue - you'll be amazed how cool you look.
Light tan mohair blend suit - Armani - $1995
Silk tie - Armani - $195
Pochette- Emme Effe - $55

INTRODUCING BB'S CURATED COLLECTION - SPRING 2014

THE TECH GEEK
It’s all ones and zeroes nowadays, isn't it? Take this exquisite blue leather jacket from Gimos ($1995), the craftspeople from Padua who for 50 years have been doing one (1) thing and one thing only: fashioning exquisite leather into contemporary styles that combine elegance, practicality and just enough flash. We've always raved about the technical aspects of Culturata shirts. The fabric is not dyed, the yarn that makes the fabric is dyed. A little bit meta? Well, if you consider impeccably fitting softness meta…not to mention the Cortigiani zip mock ($575)

Anyway, wear your hot new shirt ($215) with a cool new Nicky tie ($195), and jeans by Citizens of Humanity ($265), the company that wrote the code for designer denim. And, should an admirer be overcome and commence ripping them off, we’re here for you. We’ll find you another pair.

How many reasons can you come up with not to own this entire look? Zero - that’s what we’re thinking.

DESIGNER BIOGRAPHY - CULTURATA

Founded in 2008, Culturata is one of our favorite vendors; a shirt that is Made In Italy of Italian fabrics - often organic cottons - and rarely retailing for over $195.  Compared to "Designer" products featured elsewhere composed of similar fabrics and constructed in eastern Europe, which retail for $295+, this company is an outstanding value.

Culturata always features an ecologically minded construction, which is surprisingly rare in the fashion industry. Dying and printing can consume vast amounts of water and chemicals, and release pollutants into local atmosphere and water tables. Culturata only works with textile manufacturers committed to earth-friendly production, and never outsources its construction, choosing to make all of its outstanding clothing in Italy.

Come check out the huge collection of sport and dress shirts at Butch Blum, available in trend-right styling for a young professional's budget.
