Client and friend Joslyn Balzarini (far left) and her team at Callison Architects shared these photos with us, and they were too gorgeous not to post...these outfits were created for the Product Runway fashion competition, which requires architects and interior designers to create fashion from home/interior materials. These two outfits were created primarily from Type II vinyl wall covering. The bustier is made of wall paper, and the shiny parts (attached to dress and bustier and ultimately the overskirt (hoop), and the shell/bolero (affectionately nicknamed the “power shoulders”) are Mylar coated wall paper. The jewelry is made out of the rings in the binders that wall covering reps carry around.
